Bought 4 more bottles. Great wine Lodi does a great job on Zins, I like it better than 7 deadly zins. Just a treat.

Comment on Cimarone Reserve Syrah 2008

I agree with you about the wine, Shawn. &nbsp; Also about Andrew Murray as a great winemaker. &nbsp; We're lucky to have him in the Central Coast!

Comment on Cimarone Reserve Syrah 2008

Good stuff Randy! I appreciate the "geeky" stuff! I had this wine the other day. Once this wine opened up, I could not believe how well it's drinking for a 2010! I can only imagine what a couple years will do for this really nice Syrah. Add Andrew Murray, the Syrah/Rhone legend, and 2011 will be fun to see!

Comment on Cimarone Gran Premio Sangiovese 2008

The pleasure was mine, Roger.

Comment on Cimarone Gran Premio Sangiovese 2008

Thanks for taking the time to review our Gran Premio Sangiovese Randy - we're delighted you enjoyed it!

Comment on Blood Of The Vines: Daughter of Dr. Jekyll

Rosenblum makes a chocolate-infused Zinfandel called Desiree. &nbsp;Check it out if you like chocolate and wine together.&nbsp;<a href="http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=desiree+chocolate+wine&amp;um=1&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;tbm=shop&amp;cid=1212442624828328469&amp;sa=X&amp;ei=sQITT8L9LeiLiAKj1aykDQ&amp;ved=0CCoQ8wIwAA">http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=desiree+chocolate+wine&amp;um=1&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;tbm=shop&amp;cid=1212442624828328469&amp;sa=X&amp;ei=sQITT8L9LeiLiAKj1aykDQ&amp;ved=0CCoQ8wIwAA</a>

Comment on Blood Of The Vines: Daughter of Dr. Jekyll

I just had my first ChocoWine this past weekend. I liked it a lot, and so did about 4 of 5 others at the dinner. It had more of a alcohol bite than I expected, but not to an unpleasant level. Our bottle was 14% alcohol. You could just tell it had a bit of a kick.

Comment on Santa Barbara Wine: A Hot Time In Pasadena

I agree wholeheartedly with your high opinion of Santa Barbara County wines, and I sympathize that you have run out. &nbsp;Hopefully, you'll correct that situation and never let it happen again. &nbsp; Thanks for reading!

Comment on Santa Barbara Wine: A Hot Time In Pasadena

Santa Barbara wines should be featured all over the place. Their pinots are out of this world. Wish I had some more but I ran through the bottles I bought when I was there a few months ago. Such a shame! I'll have to go back and get some more. Aruthur Earl is one of my favorites to go to in Los Olivos. Good selection and I am never disappointed. I really enjoy staying at the Sandman Inn (<a href="http://www.thesandmaninn.com">www.thesandmaninn.com</a>). Downtown Santa Barbara and close to a lot more then just wineries!
